Seattle, WA. Feb. 1996-Feb. 1998.

Hired as production artist responsible for the development and maintenance of efficient, quality-assured art and media delivery for consumer entertainment CD-ROMs. Responsibilities rapidly grew to include project management, interface design, HTML and Javascript coding, and the definition and delegation of tasks as needed within projects to colleagues.

Accomplishments:

Production and workflow design on four titles including an estimated labor cost savings of six man-weeks on one title alone; development of hybrid media strategies leading toward transparent, integrated new media delivery.

Multicom Publishing site

The Multicom Publishing website was based on a scripted database architecture developed by Dan Foley. For more information about this site, see my M-2K work experience page. You can see the current incarnation of the Multicom site by going to Multimedia 2000.

Net Neighbors site area, online production coordinator

I led the production effort which resulted in a redesign of the Multicom site and in particular in the continuing growth of this area of the site. Almost all of the pages and sites linked from this area were developed under my production coordination.

I was particularly instrumental in the development of production procedures for Great Chefs Online and the CD-ROM jump pages, a collection of sites intended to extend the value of Multicom's line of interactive titles.

Disc Map and Website: design and HTML implementation (note the rollovers; I developed the code for this on my own and eventually Multicom adopted a later iteration as a standard rollover throughout the entire corporate website).

Database interface design: partway down the disc map site, you can see several thumbnails of the database interface I designed for this title. The thumbnails link to 640x480 screenshots.
