In spring of 1999, m-2k began working with an independent company specializing in providing online surveys and sweepstakes to dot-coms, iPromotions. Following a merger with m-2k, I led the technical and development effort that saw iPromotions revenue and staff grow and grow until the business unit was acquired by 24/7 Media in April, 2000.

Designed and managed development and implementation of integrated, expansible online survey and sweepstakes deployment technology. Developed technical specifications. Hired and managed technical and creative contractors and employees.

Accomplishments:

  • Identified and hired high-quality, committed staff
  • Developed systems to assure rapid, cost-effective delivery of services to clients
  • Costs of development: under 300k over 7 month time frame
  • Revenue from acquisition: around 3M
