Bachelor of Arts: Art History and Studio Practice of Art

Graphic Design Certificate

High Schools

Graphic Design Certificate,
1984. Seminar at Studio School of Fine Arts, Bloomington, IN.

Six-week seminar in graphic design, an introduction to professional terms and practices of the pre-digital era. I was doing pickup work for small design and type shops and this helped me perform more effectively.

High School Diploma,
1984. Bloomington High School North, Bloomington, IN.

You know, high school. I took a lot of art-related courses and developed an interest in history, somehow. I kicked ass on the SATs, though: 700 on verbal and 500 on math, or numbers to that effect. Someday I'll look them up.

l'Ecole Nouvelle de la Suisse Romande,
1982. Lausanne, Switzerland.

My dad, bless his heart, loves to travel and to live overseas. We lived in Lausanne, Switzerland for 18 months, and while there, I attended this rizty school, where I learned to speak fluent (though now somewhat rusty) French. Sadly, they seem to lack for web presence.
